NEW TESTAMENT

John 10v10:         The thief's only purpose in coming is to steal, to slaughter and destroy. I have come so they may have it abundantly.

Matthew 5v 11:         Blessed are you when they slander and persecute you and falsely accuse you of every wrong because of me.

Matthew 10v22-23:     And you shall be hated by every one on account of my name. But he who perseveres to the end shall be saved. When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next; for I assure you that you will not have gone through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

Matthew 10v21:         Brother shall betray brother to death, and the his child. Children shall turn against parents and cause their death.

Matthew 5v21-22:     You have heard of how men of ancient times were told, 'Do not murder,' and, 'Whoever murders is liable before the court'. But I tell you that any one who is angry with his brother without cause is liable before the court, and whoever speaks abusively of his brother is liable before the Sanhedrin. And whoever says, ' You fool !' is liable to the fires of hell.

Matthew 26v51-54:     One of Jesus' companions put out his hand, drew his sword and, striking the high priest's slave, cut off his ear. Jesus spoke to him, " Return the sword to its place, for all draw the sword will be destroyed by the sword. Or do you suppose I can not appeal to my Father and at once He would provide Me with more than 12 legions of angles ? How then, will the scriptures be fulfilled that it must happen this way ?"

Matthew 5v38:         You have heard that it was said, "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on the right cheek, turn the other to him also. If any one wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.
