OLD TESTAMENT

1. Exodus 20v5-6    I punish the children for the sins of their fathers to the third and forth generations of those who hate me. But I keep my faith with thousands, with those who love me and keep my commandments.

2. Exodus 34v5    The Lord came down in a cloud, stood with him there, and pronounced His Holy name, the Lord then passed in front of him and called out, I, the Lord, am a God who is full of compassion and pity, who is not easily angered and who shows great love and faithfulness.

3. Deutronomy 7v7-9:    It was not because you were numerous than any other nation that the lord cared for you and chose you, for you were the smallest of all nations. It was because the Lord loved you and stood-by his oath to your forefathers, that He brought you out with his strong hand and redeemed you from the powers of Pharaoh and reign out of Egypt.

4. Psalms 25v6-7:    Remember Lord thy tender care and thy love unfailing shown from ages past.

5. Psalms 25v10:     All the ways of the Lord are loving and sure to men who His convent and His charge.

6. Psalms 103v17:     But the Lord's love never fails those who fear him. His righteousness never fails their sons and their grand sons who listen to His voice and keep his commandments and obey them.

7. Isaiah 54v8:    In sudden anger I hid my face from you for a moment; but now I have pitied with love that never fails, says the lord who ransoms you.

8. Isaiah 54v10:    Though the mountains may move, the hills     shake, my love shall be immovable and never fails and my covenant of peace shall not be shaken. So says the Lord who takes pity on you.

9. Hosea 11v1-2:    When Israel was a boy I loved him; called my son out of Egypt; but the more I called, the further they went from me.

10. Hosea 11v4:    With human cords I lead them with hands of love.

11. Deuteronomy10v15:    Yet the Lord showed affection for your forefathers and so loved them that He chose you, their sons, above all nations as it is today.

12. Zephaniah 3v17:    The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty One who will save. He will rejoice in your delight. He will rest you in his love.

13. Jeremiah 31v3:    From afar the Lord has appeared to me saying: I have loved you with everlasting love.

14. Malach 1v2:    I have loved you says the lord, but you say, "How hast thou loved us"?

15. Isaiah 43v4:    Because you are precious in my eyes, you are honoured and I love you.

17. Deutronomy 23v5:    The Lord, your God, turned the curse into a blessing because the Lord, your God, loved you.

20. Songs of Solomon 8v7:    Many waters cannot extinguish love, nor can rivers drawn it. If a man should offer for love all his wealth of his house, it would be scornfully refused.

22. Deutronomy 11v 1:     Love the Lord, your God, therefore and always heed His charge.

23. Joshua 22v 5:    Love the Lord, your God walk in his ways.

24. Psalms 116v1:    I love the Lord for he hears my voice, my supplications.

25. Psalms 5v11:    Let all who love thy name be glad in thee: for thou O Lord dost bless the righteous.

26. Deutronomy 30v20:    Therefore choose life so that you may live, you and your children, to love the lord, your God, to obey His voice and cling to Him.

27. Psalms 97 v 10:    You who love the Lord, hate evil.

28. Psalms 145v 20:    The Lord protects all those who love Him; but he will destroy all the ungodly.

29. Deutronomy 7v9:    He is the only God, the faithful God keeping his covenant and showing loving kindness to a thousand generations of those who love Him and are obedient to His orders.

30. Psalms 31v23:    Love the Lord, all ye godly, The Lord preserves the faithful and fully repays the proved doer.

31. Deutronomy13v3:    The Lord, your God, is testing you to know whether you love the Lord, your God with all and with all your soul.

32. Deutronomy11v13-14    And if you give heed truly to other which I am charging you to love the Lord, your God, and to serve Him with all your whole soul then He will send rain upon your land in its season.

33. Songs of Solomon 8v6:    Love is mighty as death, ardent love as demanding as sheol.

34.Leviticus 19v34:    When a stranger is among you in your land, do not maltreat him, the foreigner who lives among you shall be like a native among you. You shall love him as your own because you were a stranger in the land Egypt?

35. Deutronomy 10v19:    You, too, then should love the foreigner. Were you not immigrants in the land of Egypt?

36. Proverbs 10v12:    Hatred stirs up contentions, but love covers all transgressions.

37. Leviticus 19v 17:    Do not in your heart hate your brother; yet correct your fellow men lest you incur sin on his account.

38. Proverbs 15v17:    Better a vegetable meal where love is, than a fattened ox and hate with it.
